Low priority but I am looking at migrating off one of my task apps and thinking about getting Tasks from a particular list to show in the planner. Just ideating, unsure if the API’s for calendar support this at this stage.
You’re amazing. Next you have to solve international tax haha!

Some examples and further thinking to help:
I have a Task List of “Passports and Visas” that has renewal dates for these items, that’s a good example to show on my planning calendar. I do not want to show my main task list or groceries :-)
Another example list could be “Taxes” that has tasks to complete for accounting and tax lodgements.
So I want to be able to pick which lists to show.
I do note that there are due dates and now dead line dates starting to appear in google tasks but they are not really consistent or complete yet. But seems like the deadline is the later date and the task date is like the reminder - eg taxes are due on april 15, but my task date is April 1. Unsure if you want to support this in the first iteration.
Possibly allow for a color per list
Optionally allow to show task icon on tasks to indicate a task

I’ve officially started diving into the Google Tasks sync.
It’s still early stages, but the work is officially underway. So, if you’re looking for a sign to start prepping your migration... this is it! :D

That’s a great idea! Actually, it’s planned for the end of February. In the meantime, I just need to finish the create/edit event functionality in Kalnext first, and then I’ll be able to focus on this.
Obviously, feel free to suggest other ideas that could help companies like Service Rocket, I’d be happy to discuss them and add them to the roadmap!
