Feature Request

Would be great to filter in/out GCal events with certain words.

IF event name CONTAINS X, then include/exclude.

For example, I put my friends birthdays in my calendar as all day events, I don’t want them to show in kalnext, but I can only filter for all day vs. not all day events, so I can’t do this.

    That’s a really good point, thanks for sharing. Being able to include or exclude events based on words in the event title would be super useful. Relying only on “all-day vs not all-day” is definitely limiting. I’ll take a look at this soon. I’ll get back to you shortly.

      What do you think about a “search” panel like in Google sheet (for example)?
      And the displayed events are filtered by your search (inclusion or exclusion)

        Thanks for taking this feature into consideration! I think this UX makes sense so long as it’s filtering, not just highlighting (like command F). As long as the search bar (like in google sheets) allows the user to filter then it would be great. Also, would it work for emojis? For example I use an emoji to connote birthdays. Thanks!

          Hi Maxx, I just added a display filter that lets you include or exclude terms in event names (and it even works perfectly with emojis!). Hope this does the trick!
